About the AMSA Academic Mentorship Program

The AMSA Academic Mentorship Program was created to foster a culture of academic support, collaboration, and growth among ABUAD medical students. Medical school can be demanding, and having guidance from someone who has already navigated similar challenges can make a meaningful difference.

This program connects students with more experienced peers who can provide academic guidance, study strategies, and practical advice on navigating medical school. Through structured mentor-mentee relationships, the program aims to create a supportive learning environment where students can share knowledge, build confidence, and grow both academically and personally.

How the Program Works

Students may apply to participate either as mentors or mentees. After registration, participants are paired based on factors such as academic strengths, learning needs, and personal goals to encourage meaningful and productive mentorship relationships.

Once paired, mentors and mentees are encouraged to maintain regular communication, discuss academic goals, and share strategies that promote effective learning and personal development.
